Finished Steampunk Gameboy
WTF!!?? You ruined a classic Game Boy! And besides, adding a couple screws, some pipes and poorly spray painting it (gold?) doesn't necessarily make it steampunk.
Thanks for the comment, but I don't think I ruined it. The spray paint is layered with bronze and faded gold to give a rusted a weathered texture (I have WIP pictures on here).
I say you ruined it because I happen to respect the classic game boy (hell, I still play it on occasion!). and as for the rest of my critiques, might I just say "the devil is in the details" You say you wanted a "rusted" look? Have you ever seen bronze rust? No.. because it doesn't, it ->TARNISHES<-. and for a Good steampunk look, you need to think about what the materials you put on it do as well as the prevailing tech look of the Victorian era.
Well I didn't make this for you to be honest, and I wouldn't call your comments "critiques" by any means. Many people seem to like what I've done, as do I, and if you will notice this is my first attempt at any design in this fashion. If you're going to try and give criticism at least make it constructive.
Dam, That's one pimped out GameBoy!
That made my Day!!! <3 *O*
How do make all this steampunk stuff
I definetly want one of those
steamboy game system?
Awww snap, this is legit!! Does it work?
That's so cool. Does the light bulb work?
Thank you , and not at the moment, I'm not that great at wiring electronics but I may try and get it working at some point. the bulb unscrews off so should be do-able
LOL! I imagine it's a little harder to play though...
It isn't that difficult to handle surprisingly, and I have small hands.
so cool! X3
